" A Vaucluse farmhouse"

This farmhouse, locally a "bastide", caught my eye while driving on a two lane road at the foot of Mont Ventoux. The shoulder was too narrow for safe parking so I stopped just long enough to draw a quick pencil sketch and then drove away to a quiet spot where I painted in the colors from memory.
