"Schooner Cove"

Schooner cove is situated at the north end of the Pacific Rim National Park on the west coast of Vancouver Island, an area my wife and I have visited every winter since 1986, enjoying the quiet of the deserted seacoast, watching the thunderous winter storms, beachcombing and painting. .

One of our most pleasurable traditions with which we like to renew when travelling to the park is to stay at Pacific Sands, a resort owned and operated by the Pettinger family, and situated a few kilometers south of Tofino, on beautiful Cox Bay.
